I have extensive experience, over 35 years, in technological innovation and regulatory compliance of the Stock Exchanges and Financial Markets, leading technological changes in this area.As coordinating director of Sociedad de Bolsas S.A. (1999-2006) I had the privilege of leading the digital transformation of the Stock Exchange. I was responsible for the organization and management of the SIBE, the primary source of stock market information, the harmonization with European markets, the opening of the SIBE to approved external applications and the income statement. As secretary of the IBEX® Indexes Committee (1999-2018), responsible for managing, calculating, publishing and maintaining the Sociedad de Bolsas indexes, more than 50 different companies passed through the IBEX 35® and the rules were adapted to the spectacular development of the markets.As general manager of BME Innova (2007-2017), the innovation subsidiary of Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, I was responsible for its income statement, advisory, consultancy and technical assistance to international stock exchanges and the creation of new services. Contingency services, market abuse detection and regulatory reporting, among others, are today leaders and benchmarks in the market.Promoter, co-founder, president and currently honorary president of Alastria, the first Blockchain consortium in Spain, which has more than 550 entities, making it a global benchmark. Co-founder of the start-ups WAYS (2022) and THE MUXIC (2023), business models that integrate DLT technologies and the opportunities offered by the new regulatory environment.I have recently completed the training program 'From Executive to Board Member' at IESE, in collaboration with KPMG and AED, where I have collected different strategies and keys to be able to join Boards of Directors. As a mathematician, I am passionate about algorithms and the application of technological innovation for the development and improvement of society. With disruptive and results-oriented thinking. But I am even more enthusiastic about people, I believe in collaboration and I am a negotiator of public-private consensus to contribute to the social transformation and presence of Spain in Europe and Latin America.
