Rafael González Bautista, is a Spanish entrepreneur and investor, based in Mexico for 10 years. He currently leads Save Capital, a private equity fund with an ambitious plan to invest in companies that promote entrepreneurship and innovation in Mexico. As a founding partner of the Save Capital fund, he invests in some of these ventures and manages the operation of the equity markets in which the fund operates. Born in 1976, he belongs to a generation that saw technology as a threat, but in his case, in addition to not fearing it, he has relied on it, being now a well-known digital communicator, in the field of investments and cryptocurrencies, where he promotes a movement that advocates the improvement of investors' training and develop tools that allow them to stay out of scams and speculative movements. Previously in Mexico he led the LATAM operations of Grupo IC, working to improve the educational and professionalizing content that both in private and public training, is used. He was also CEO of the marketing and digital transformation agency AKENCY. With extensive experience in the world of books and the conversion to the digital environment, he is a recognized figure in the publishing industry in Spain, for working towards digital transformation and the dynamization of the book market in that European country. Other professional experiences as Production Director (Grammata), Operations Director, or Key Account Manager LATAM (Grupo Trevenque) allowed him to know different areas of the company. His training as a Systems Engineer, allows him to find in technology solutions that allow him to dynamize and update businesses, other traditional ones, giving a fresh vision to markets and companies in the search for improving productivity and efficiency of their internal, commercial and communication processes.
